SS17 Catwalk Trends

It's finally reached over 15 degrees here in London and the sunglasses, legs and picnic blankets are officially out. If you're in need for some fash-spiration, see below for my carefully curated look at this seasons main ready-to-wear catwalk trends.

LAYERING BRALETTES
Do you have pretty lace dress or a preppy shirt that looks a bit kindergarten? Buy a madonna-esque bralette to layer over the top and sex up that outfit to fully fledged adult ratings.

PATCHWORK/PATTERN BLOCKING
With Tommy Hilfiger dominating this trend, we already know what Kendall, Hailey, Gigi & Bella will be rocking at Coachella this week. Pair with Cowboy Boots for ultimate festival spirit.

EIGHTIES
Reminiscent of the late and great David Bowie, and my mum at a fancy dress party - The 80's finally has a comeback. Watch out for those shoulder pads and metallic drapes.

SUIT UP
My favourite trend of them all, yet currently the hardest to find on the high street - please let me know if you come across a colorful short suit. This is the way to wear a loud print in the office AND the bar.

ABSTRACT PRINT
Follow fashion giants and forget florals, then opt for an abstract print this spring to separate yourselves from the 'so last year-ers.' Don't worry, you don't have to afford Miu Miu, fill up your wardrobe with abstract prints from Zara.
